One of Skipton’s longest established shops is on the move – after finding its perfect match!

Cinderella’s bridal shop is moving to the town’s historic High Corn Mill. Owned by husband and wife team, Doug and Mandy Abramson, Cinderella’s was established 18 years ago, originally starting out as an alterations shop. The couple quickly expanded, branding the business Cinderella’s, and opening their first bridal shop in the town’s Victoria Street. In response to an increased demand, not only for bridal wear but also suit hire and prom dresses, they soon needed larger premises, resulting in a move to Coach Street in 2006.

Said Mandy: “We have been making brides’ dreams become a reality for nearly 18 years, and this move to High Corn Mill will enable us to take our business to the next level. Our new premises will continue to offer the in-house alterations, a cleaning service, and the ability to pop in without an appointment. It also makes life much easier for our customers with everything now on one level with private parking close by.”

Owner of High Corn Mill, Eagerlux’s md, Andrew Mear, said: “We are delighted to welcome Cinderella’s to High Corn Mill. With Sexton & Co hairdressing and spa, Georgina Brewster Photography and The Home Company’s wedding list service all already on site; High Corn Mill is well on its way to becoming a ‘one stop shop’ for brides to be!”
